The Evolution of the United States Army Uniform, published by LionHeart FilmWorks and Ancient Wardrobe a few months ago is rapidly going viral with well more than a million viewpoints. Thevideo tells the story of the military uniform all the way back into the 17th century when the first organized militias were formed that could later develop into the United States Army.

LionHeart FilmWorks and its sister firm Wardrobe created the movie. Based on Kevin R. Hershberger, founder and President of the two firms, it was an ambitious endeavor that nobody has tried before in this fashion.

"This movie is a joint effort by both companies and teams in our pursuit and enthusiasm to produce historic content using an almost obsessive level of historical accuracy and attention to detail," says Hershberger. "We covered 400 years of history, so I think that's something to be proud of!"

It gives the viewer a fascinating glimpse of 23 different fashions of dress -- the uniforms, weapons, and accoutrements -- that were worn by the U.S. army soldier as far back as the 1620s. The movie is really the first in a string that LionHeart FilmWorks and Historical Wardrobe are planning on the subject of historical U.S. army uniforms.

Hershberger feels that the video may be particularly applicable this month because of Armed Forces Day on May 19th, that observes current members of the U.S. military, and Memorial Day on May 28th, that observes members of the U.S. military who have given their lives in service evolution of the us army uniform to the country.
